About Our Owner
Dr. Steven O. Link is a professional botanist with 24 years of experience in the Columbia Basin. He has worked at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Washington State University. He started the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society, was the President of the Northwest Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration, and is the President of the Benton County Noxious Weed Control Board.
He recently started Native Plant Landscaping and Restoration to satisfy the growing demand to reintroduce nature to our lives, and to reduce our dependence on irrigated turf grass. Efforts to put native plants into landscapes easily become ecological restoration of damaged ecosystems, which is why he's ready to repair and restore damaged ecosystems by re-establishing a highly diverse mix of native plants.
